Air Fryer Pita Pizza

Air fryer pita pizza is by far the easiest way to make a quick pizza at home. Using pre-made "crust" and using the air fryer to melt and brown the cheese makes this an easy <10 minute meal

Ingredients

  • 1 6" pita bread
  • 1-2 tbsp pizza sauce
  • ½ cup mozzarella
  • 6-8 pieces pizza pepperioni
  • additional toppings, to taste

  • Air fryer

Method

  1. Prep your pita pizza: Spread 1-2 tbsp of pizza sauce on the pita, leaving ¼" border for handling. Evenly distribute the cheese and top with desired toppings. Place the pepperoni on top of the other ingredients and gently press into the pita.
  2. Bake: Cook for 5-6 minutes in the air fryer at 350°F. Check on it halfway through to make sure the toppings haven't travelled from the fast circulating air.
  3. Enjoy: Once the cheese is melted or browned to your satisfaction, remove and cut into 4 pieces. Enjoy!
