Ingredients
- 398 ml can tomato sauce
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp white sugar, optional1
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ¼-½ tsp fine sea salt
- ¼ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp dried marjoram
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Method
- In a small-medium pot with a lid, add all the ingredients. Whisk to combine and set over medium-low heat with the lid to bring to a simmer.
- Once the mixture is at a simmer, reduce the heat to low and let it cook, partially covered, for 1 hour until the mixture thickens. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
- Spread a few tbsp of the sauce on a pizza crust up to 1-2 cm from the edge. Add cheese and other toppings as desired.
