Air Fryer Pita Pizza

by Laurel Braun
Jump to Recipe Jump to Video Print Recipe

This is by far the easiest way to make a quick pizza at home. Using pre-made “crust” and using the air fryer to melt and brown the cheese makes this an easy <10 minute meal. Air fryer pita pizza is hands down one of the quickest ways to enjoy a ~somewhat~ healthy pizza at home.

air fryer pita pizza

This little pita pizza packs in over 20 grams of protein and is under 500 calories – making it a great choice for a quick lunch or snack when the craving strikes.

Prep your air fryer pita pizza:

Spread 1-2 tbsp of pizza sauce on the pita, leaving ¼” border for handling. You can use store bought or homemade – I always freeze extra sauce when I make my Take-Out Style Pizza Sauce so I can have quick meals or snacks when needed. Evenly distribute the cheese and top with desired toppings. Place the pepperoni on top of the other ingredients and gently press into the pita.

Bake the pita pizza:

Cook for 5-6 minutes in the air fryer at 350°F.

You will notice in the photo that two of my pepperonis mysteriously disappeared .. the air fryer likes to fling them off the pizza – so check on it halfway through and retrieve the lost pepperonis so they don’t burn.

Enjoy!

Once the cheese is melted and browned to your satisfaction, remove from the air fryer and cut into 4 pieces. Enjoy!
